Students are divided into age appropriate groups that they will work with for the entirety of the camp. There is no audition required to join Senior Theater Camp, but high school students wanting to be a part of the Advanced Theater Group, an elite distinction within STC, will be required to submit a video audition for admission into the program.

Each STC student will receive a voice lesson and workshops in the following areas:

-Dance Lessons (for both non-dancers and dancers)
-Auditioning
-Acting for the Stage
-Speech and Diction

and more!

Plus additional workshops led by Broadway guest artists!

The culmination of the program is a musical revue that all STC students will perform in on the second Thursday night of camp for their families & friends.

Now Presenting Senior Theater Camp!

At Broadway Theatre Workshops, we believe strongly in the value that participating in the performing arts adds to young people's lives. Every day, we see students build confidence, creativity, and initiative through their study of acting, voice, and dance. We're a well-established program for musical theater camps, meaning you can trust that we'll provide a high-quality environment for outstanding artistic instruction the way we've done for twenty years. We bring the same quality and personal attention to our summer theater camp that we bring to our year-round private lessons and master classes.

When Does Camp Run?

Broadway Theatre Workshops conducts our Senior Theater Camp in July. This summer camp will last for two weeks, running all day Monday through Friday. From 9am to 4pm, students' days will be full of fantastic workshops and classes that explore both performance fundamentals and special topics. At the end of the two-week period, camp will culminate in a Musical Review performance that's open for friends and family to attend.

Who Can Register?

Students become eligible for Senior Theater Camp in fifth grade. (If you're looking for a program for third through fifth graders, sign them up for our Junior Theater Camp!) Fifth through twelfth graders will split into age-appropriate groups for workshops throughout the day.

What Do Students Learn At Camp?

During camp, fifth through twelfth graders will delve into techniques of acting, singing, and dancing. Classes will be split into age-appropriate groups to hone fundamental skills and build new ones.
