Katie is a principal of Lively McCabe Entertainment overseeing all of their educational/enrichment activities, and serves as the Director of Programming for Broadway Theater Workshops. Katie has a BFA in Musical Theater from Ithaca College, was a founding member of Off-Broadway's Gotham Stage Company, and spent over twenty years as a professional actor in New York and Los Angeles. As an actor, Katie has appeared in many Off-Broadway plays and independent films, but is best known for her national commercial campaigns for Hamburger Helper, Campbell's Soup, WalMart and as on-air spokesperson for TV Land, HGTV Network, and as the voice of Indie 103.1 in Los Angeles. As an arts educator, Katie has taught in NYC public schools via the NiteStar program, served as an instructor in the Central Park Historical Society's pilot after-school literacy program, and taught early development music/play classes to preschoolers for 3 years in NYC. Since moving to New Jersey with her family, Katie has directed K-8 musicals at Stage Right in Ridgewood, including recent productions of Legally Blonde, Godspell, Once On This Island, Annie, Frozen Jr, and Mulan, and teaches in multiple afterschool elementary and middle school drama enrichment programs.
